BD (Senior Manager)/Associate Director

Responsibilities:

  • Articulately present company's leading compounds to targeted business partners/NewCo investors:
    Proactively learning the henlius' pipeline and be able to give a good presentation of Henlius' Pipeline & strategy to potential BD partners and investors
  • Out-Licensing Targeting, assist in Negotiation and Execution process:
    Seek and identify leading potential BD partners or NewCo Investors who would be interested in Henlius Pre-clincial and Clinical Assets. Doing supportive work to negotiation and execution procress
  • Company-wide presentation deck preparation:
    Prepare either company-level or single compound level presentation deck, and collect relevant materials from other departments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with internal R&D, product management, marketing, business development, legal, patent, regulatory, quality, venture capital and finance teams to align external innovation efforts with the company's strategic objectives and operational capabilities.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Assessment:
    Conduct market analysis and opportunity assessments to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for external collaboration and investment. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market intelligence and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelor/Master degree in Biology/Pharmaceutical/Bio-chemistry/Medical
    Related or with any degree with 5 years experience in Biopharma industry
  • Experience:
    5 years experience in life science
  • Skills and Competencies:

-Has a good connection with some BD partners/NewCo investors

-Extensive experience of technology scouting and/or in- and out-licensing experience or other relevant experience in a commercial environment (i.e. life science research tools companies)

-Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for negotiation, relationship building, and engagement with senior life science stakeholders
