General Summary:
The Industry Manager provides leadership in strategic and tactical marketing (market penetration, segmentation, and effective EVE tools and launch packages) and platform/product definition for Avient's products and positioning. This individual is a thought leader who performs independently and has demonstrated the ability to effectively interact and influence peers and the next level up in organizations (Avient and Customer).
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
The Purpose of the Marketing Function is to Deliver:
·Identify growth opportunities in EV and hydrogen vehicle by analyzing market value chain, design trends, materials needs, competitive landscape and set up plan to develop our targeting applications.
·Creates a strong value proposition of our key innovative platforms such as chemical foaming, flame retardants and other functional additives in target applications, focusing on the customer, product un-met needs and customization in specific scenarios.
·Leads new product development activities through innovation process (POL and NPD) and introduction of new products to sales and prospecting customers.
·Conducts market research for other trend driven opportunities and communicates widely in the organization.
·Generates effective marketing campaigns, advertising programs and technical literature. Ensures industry sales records are analyzed and performance is evaluated against sales targets.
·Develops effective trade shows, industry conferences and other digital promoting resources to generate prospecting leads and promote our innovative solutions.
·Supervises technical literature, advertising campaigns, definitions, specification, and performance standards.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors-Marketing or Equivalent ExperienceMasters-Business Administration or Equivalent Experience
·More than 5+ years of hands-on experience in the relevant industry and performs independently in marketing activities.
·Having a robust relationship or network with key OEMs, Tiers and compounding players in the transportation industry will be a plus advantage.
·Familiar with chemical foaming agent (CFA), flame-retardant and other functional additives used in the transportation industry with successful experience to spec in new business by leading a cross-functional team.
Solid salesforce experience in managing marketing campaigns, innovation dashboard and industry activities.
·High business acumen, proactive and enthusiasm personality
