Job Mission

ASML, the market leader in the semiconductor lithography equipment, is looking to fill the role of Lead Engineer in the repair center in China. The mission of the repair center is to reduce waste, re-use materials and promote the circular economy. The lead engineer is the technical specialist who determines the solution direction for failing parts, and define a repair strategy.

Role and responsibilities

In this role you are responsible to repair broken service parts and validate functionality to confirm the repair action was successful. You work close together with the lead engineer to determine the root cause of the failure, to determine the repair method of the part and to validate functionality after the repair action.

Responsibilities:

Perform incoming inspection and confirm repairability of incoming materials Perform root cause analysis on failure modes and determine most effective solution direction to repair the part and test functionality Define required repair components, and liaise with sourcing department to secure supply Document issue-resolution method and share knowledge. Qualify repaired parts and validate functionality according to specifications Secure safe repair methods; compliant to EHS standards

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master of technical engineering. Specialized in electronics or mechatronics or optics.

Experience

3+ years as service-, maintenance- or repair-engineer in an technology advanced industry Repair of modules or parts on component level Project management

Skills

English speaker – good reading and writing skills A team player with a strong personality, who inspires and motivates others Critical to your own performance, improves behavior of yourself and others Pragmatic approach; drive for effectiveness and efficiency Structured and organized
