About the role
- Acting as a guiding light for high school students, helping them discover their study directions and interests
- Working one-on-one with students to develop customized guidance plans tailored to their individual needs
- Gathering students' information, tracking their learning progress, and ensuring smooth communication with teachers and parents
- Assisting in the writing and revision of students' essays, as well as guiding them through the submission of online application materials
- Providing interview coaching for students and offering psychological counseling to both students and their parents
- Preparing students for visa acquisition post-admission and offering psychological support and life advice before and after their journey oversea
- Engaging with visiting universities, facilitating public lectures, and contributing to Open Day presentations, admissions interviews, and other school activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications preferred
- Experience in academic advising, college admissions, or high school counseling with a strong understanding of standardized tests and admissions criteria
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple student cases efficiently
- Awareness of and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds, adept at guiding a diverse cohort through the admissions process
