YOUR ROLE
  • Coordinate Make vs. Buy decision and implementation based on customer requirements throughout the life of a program (In house or Third-Party Manufacturing).
  • Responsible for delivering program at desired margin & ensuring profitability throughout life of a program.
  • Budgeting, tracking and controlling all project cost (incl. customer paid vs. Henkel paid, part price, tooling).
  • Ensure program delivery by developing & monitoring of program timelines, open issues matrixes and program cost.
  • Drive open issues to closure through tracking and escalation.
  • Develop program status reports and lead program milestone reviews with management.
  • Support program communication to customer and internal cross-functional program teams.
  • Participate in strategic customer discussions for issue resolution.
  • Initiate kick-off meetings and support preparation of formal quotes.
  • Coordinate internal change management (e.g. bank builds, lead times, cost).
  • Communicating APQP customer requirements as input into APQP meetings.
  • Lead launch teams in close collaboration with the Manufacturing Readiness Manager to execute flawless program launches incl. coordination of deliveries of parts on-time and in-full across all program phases.
  • Work with DRE and submit tooling kick off and tooling change request.
  • Represent Henkel with assigned customers, supporting customer relationship and understanding expectations to drive new business opportunities.
  • Travel to customers, tollers and Henkel facilities to support specific projects and events as required.
  • Work closely with internal and external KAM, manufacturing, design and sales teams.
  • PM Flex: next to above, contribute or lead continuous improvement and global best practice initiatives for the PM function.
YOUR SKILLS
  • Education: Bachelor's in science/engineering. Mechanical Engineering Preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive engineering or program management; experience in the Chemical industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Technical design knowledge & commercial understanding needed.
  • The ability to think and work under minimal supervision is essential.
  • Up-to-date computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
