Senior Manager Human Resources

Purpose:
Provide one-stop-shop HR business partnership service and support to the defined GCA Global Functions teams, and ensure that the internal customers receive the expected value from HR. Cultivate and maintain a harmonious and trust culture between management and employees within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build up and maintain a close relationship with internal customers to ensure that business needs are taken into consideration in developing HR initiatives and HR standards, ensure procedures are fully understood and implemented in support area
- Provide coaching to employees and management; articulate and present HR concepts and tools to groups of employees, encouraging and supporting an employee-oriented high performance culture.
- Take ownership for complex global and cross functional projects/initiatives which are derived out of the Business Plan
- Recommend, implement and update guidelines and policies in order to ensure relevant HR services and consistent standards of employment.
- Challenge current processes (policies, structure, etc.) and status quo; think outside the box in terms of solutions; proactively contact global / expert teams for advice and solutions that are aligned with the team across countries.
- Work closely with Business Leaders / Line Management in structuring and developing their respective teams (e.g. team line up) and support agreed action plans.
- Support Performance Management including low performance management and disciplinary measures in alignment with policies and leaders. Ensure top and low performers are identified and initiate/execute action.
- In collaboration with Talent Acquisition team, drive the recruitment of all positions (up to Director level) according to defined standards.
- Manage workforce planning, salary rounds and promotions/salary adjustments for defined support areas in accordance with established policies/ guidances.
- Implement global talent management and development programs, tools and initiatives and work closely with other HR Manager and Expert teams to continuously improve the programs/processes.
- Work closely with GBS H2R to ensure proper updates of SAP modules and HR reports on a regular basis.
- Build good working relationships with the relevant global and local HR teams needed to support the specified Global Functions teams.
- Manage ad hoc request or projects assigned from HR leadership team.

Requisite Education and Experience:
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 7-8 years progressive work experience in the field of HR (preferably in an international organization)
- Project management experience preferable
- English fluent (written and oral)
- MS-Office skills
