In this role, you will be the face of allnex’ additives business in China market and manage target segment-customer lists and opportunity pipeline. You will be enhancing and managing the interactions with existing customers from direct and indirect accounts. You will be the key contact person to manage customer issues with the help of local or regional Technical Service/R&D team.

Responsibilities
Drive growth of coating additive business in both industrial coating and architecture coating. Manage new Additives promotional initiatives’ implementation, focusing on the strategic product placement and potential new developments in China. Cooperate with regional sales team, look for more new opportunities and lead the key projects. Work closely with TS&D groups to develop the new sales tools (SPF, panels, technical presentations, wet paint samples, etc.) to support the promotion of additives. Work together with sales team, TS&D and R&D to develop China market fit for use additives to support business growth. Monitor major competitors’ activities, provide related competition information to commercial team (including product, performance, manufacturing, etc.) Regular customers visit, closely work with sales team and distributors to have problem solving and troubleshooting activities. Support creation of new product literature, bulletins and technical presentations for local markets. Observe local market trends, market studies and competitive situation. Manage local distribution channels for Additives to ensure strategic product distribution and profitability. Create sales leads and support cross Business Unit sales forces and ensure successful sales closures. Work closely together with Product Line Managers for all relevant updates, pricing and product mix. Strong collaboration with relevant functions to ensure timely deliveries with best quality. Provide monthly reports, summarizing Additives business development, product development and technical support.
Required skills and experience
5 - 8 years experience in Business Development, Sales, or Technical Service and demonstrated experience in chemical industry with coating additives technologies. Strong technical expertise or background in Additives. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Good command in English. Excellent communication skills, written, presentation and verbal. Track record in key account management and business / customer development in new markets or with new products. Excellent sales skills and commercial acumen. A strong bias towards action leading to commercialization. Availability to travel. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Science displicine. MBA is a plus.
