About the Role:

As the China Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will oversee regulatory projects for Nu Skin China, you will be a part of a growing team, interacting with other departments.


As a member of the Regulatory Affairs Department, you will implement and lead regulatory projects to ensure compliance of Nu Skin with the various regulations related to food and food supplements, electronic devices, and cosmetics.

What you'll do:

Actively lead, coach and develop a team of regulatory specialists 

Contribute to the establishment of the China and global regulatory goals and objectives

Partner with global and local stakeholders in R&D and Marketing during New Product Development process to ensure that products are developed and validated to comply with the applicable Chinese legislative framework

Set up, implement and maintain efficient regulatory projects, processes and systems for all aspects in the regulatory product life cycle

Understanding the principles of risk management 

Provide guidance and training to key stakeholders on relevant regulatory matters 

Resolve post-market product related issues effectively

Monitor regulatory environment and anticipate changes

Foster active communication and awareness of emerging issues and opportunities with internal key stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain)

Create an environment for talent development

What you'll need:

Qualifications

A regulatory law or scientific degree in (bio)chemistry, biological sciences, pharmacology, engineering Extensive knowledge and experience of Regulatory Affairs related to Food Supplements, Foods, Electronic Devices, Cosmetics Experience in dealing with China state regulators is a plus Minimum 5 years’ experience Ability to manage budget and resources

Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical time deadlines Ability to independently interpret, evaluate the details in technical material and government regulations/policies and to urn technical jargon into easily understood information Ability to communicate cross-functionally and to educate others Demonstrate genuine interest and enthusiasm for compliance and how it impacts the business Pragmatic team player that can establish, maintain and foster positive and effective working relationships  Self-motivated, capable of independent action and excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate effectively to and with all levels of the organization (strong written and verbal skills)
