Responsibilities
Represent well as a structured product MARK sales externally in the onshore China market and internally within the SG China organization. Products to cover would include all various cross asset products including FIC underlying structured deposit/note, QDII, quanto-swap under NAFMII & EQD product, including ELS QIS under SAC, etc. Work closely with onshore/offshore sales team, esp. XAS team to drive China franchise and cross-border client demand. Clients to serve would include all type of financial institutions including banks, security houses, asset management companies, trust companies, leasing companies, etc., all over China. Develop our structured product offering commercial franchise onshore in China, including identifying new clients (client segments) and new profitable products, identify the gap between SG’s offering vs the market demand, and build up the infrastructure in place together with various support functions (such as trading, engineering, COO, etc.) that are needed to serve those new clients and catch those new business opportunities. Achieve both personal NBI target and onshore structured products offering franchise build-up goal at the same time; and allocate the efforts in a balanced way Make sure all risk aspects of businesses including legal and compliance risks, operational risks, reputational risks would be minimized and abide by all internal and external rules and regulations in the day-to-day businesses. Stay informed and undergo trainings in the field of the ESG to thoroughly understand the challenges and ensure the incorporation into daily activities.
Profile required
3-5years (for Associate) 5-10years (for VP) of relevant experiences either on the sales side or on XAS structuring side with the global market department of reputable banks. Good understanding of the financial institution businesses and good knowledge of global market products on the fixed income and currencies side. Good knowledge of all cross asset business/products would be essential for a XAS sales Strong motivation and good communication skills to deal with the financial intuitions clients and have good capabilities to develop new relationship Well understanding the different legal framework and regulations that are relevant to the businessCandidate Profile:
Academic Background (degree and major):
Bachelor or above degree in relevant majors such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics from reputable universities domestic and abroadWorking Experience /Technical Skills & Know how:
3-5 relevant experience depending on levelSkills & Competencies:
