Finance Analyst, Financial System

Job Summary

1.Good experience with Business Intelligence systems (Power BI or MicroStrategy) reporting and analytics; Be able to clean and transform the raw data so as to build reports and create Dashboard accordingly.

2.To support validation of daily flash data, issue resolving, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of report distribution, upload, as well as smoke test when needed.

3. Proficiency with key financial systems such as SAP, BRIM, and BPC is a plus. Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and other business departments to ensure appropriate system integration.

Major Responsibilities

•Responsible for timely budget and LE loading for daily business performance reporting (flash).

•Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely publishing of flash reports.

•Work with IT team to incorporate business operators and finance team’s requirements into Business Intelligence /flash system and responsible for user testing for new report delivery and existing report enhancement.

•Good at power BI reporting/analysis and be able to provide financial analysis per manager and leadership’s demands in a timely manner.

•Assist to manage information system projects implementation from end to end. Representing finance team to draft user requirement after alignment with local and global partners, participate system demo and project meetings, support system testing to ensure the required functionalities work as expected, and collaborate with IT and business departments on any topic related with system implementation.

•Conduct end user training when there is a demand. Serve as liaison between Finance, IT, business departments and external vendors as it relates to the support and administration of Finance systems.

•Stay updated regarding key finance systems technology and trends. Continuously benchmark best practices in the product market and industry and share with the finance leadership team. Seek for opportunities to increase.

•Contribute to financial high-level process design and SOP definition from system perspective.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•2+ years of experience in accounting or finance related IT systems. Experience in theme park, hospitality, retail, or ecommerce industry is preferred.

•Hands-on experience on project management. Familiar with project management methodology. At least 2 full life cycle project experience.

•Hands-on experience on business requirement analysis. Able to summarize business requirements in a concise and precise way. Able to translate business or technical language into financial terms, and vice versa.

•Good understanding of financial settlement process and revenue recognition process in theme park, hospitality, or Retail industry.

•Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills with holistic view, be able to identify connection points and gaps in a process and business environment.

•Strong communication and influencing skills. Good at stakeholder management along with cross-function collaboration.

•Self-motivated and accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility.

•Fluent in Mandarin and English, both orally and in written.

Education

•Bachelor’s degree or above from a four-year university in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance Management or Business Administration required.

•Accounting background is preferred.
