Join our vibrant Composites and Adhesives team as a New Business Development Manager in Shanghai, China. This exciting role offers you the chance to meet with potential customers, create new business, collaborate with the local sales team, expand the customer base, and establish a market database for composites business in China.If you're prepared to inspire a team of ambitious individuals who share our company vision, we want to hear from youResponsibilitiesIdentify target markets and key customers in China for developing the Composites business.Regularly engage with customers to drive business growth.Analyze market trends, needs, and advancements to execute a strategic growth plan for the Composite business in China.Manage CRM and opportunity pipelines efficiently.Assist in creating new product literature and technical presentations for the Chinese market.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers within China.Establish and oversee distribution channels for Composites products.Collaborate with Technical Service and Business Development team (TSBD) on product introductions and trials with customers.Provide support in direct sales to customers or distributors.Identify customer technology requirements, assist in trials, and ensure acceptance.Undertake other duties as assigned by the manager.Prepare monthly reports on projects and activities.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 10 years' experience in Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, or R&D, with a focus on Business Development in a multinational setting.Prior 5 years of work history in a chemical manufacturing or distribution environment.Preference for experience with UPR/VE, Gelcoats, or FRP composite materials.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Demonstrated skills in New Business Development.Fluency in English.Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Proficient in project management.Good negotiation and persuasion capabilities.Remarkable business intelligence mindset and skills.Self-motivated with a keen ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced setting.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.Opportunities We ProvideAt allnex, we offer an international work environment with a close-knit network of colleagues, facilitating connections and learning opportunities across different functions.
