The Marketplace or "Selling on Amazon" business exists in 17 countries and exceeds 50% of total Amazon unit sales and growing.

Every year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Our goal is to offer customers Earth's largest selection.

China Global Selling aims to fulfill this goal by identifying significant China Sellers, bring their product range to Amazon's global marketplaces.

The position we're looking to fill is Senior PM for New Region development, covering current new regions and future new regions to be expanded, which are seen as CN Global Selling next growth engine.

The senior PM manager will collaborate with New Region business leaders, and work with internal cross-function teams to discover new opportunities, develop and execute strategy, drive new initiatives through design, launch, and management to achieve New Region business growth.

The candidate must have outstanding communication skills, possess strong project planning and management abilities.

She/he will be highly customer-centric, with excellent business acumen, enabling them to drive initiatives to speed up seller recruitment, seller success and ecosystem development in new regions.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment; demonstrate strong program management skills, effective communication skills, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new region business opportunities, contribute to new region strategic planning/action plans/goal settings, and conduct regular business reviews;
  • Develop and lead key internal-facing and external seller-facing initiatives to support new region business growth including driving regional seller recruitment and success, establishing local industry zones, and nurturing local ecosystems; Develop a systematic and scalable approach to achieve these goals;
  • Prioritize and implement Global and CN global selling programs in new regions, and disseminate learnings to apply best practices to more regions;
  • Lead regular and ad-hoc business deep dives and analyses to derive strategic insights and support management decisions;
  • Establish strong relationships and build trust with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure necessary resources.
Key job responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in business administration or equivalence
  • 8+ years' experience in Program management, Consulting or Business development and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to details, operational excellence and ability of multitasking.
  • Superior analytical skills, demonstrated ability to acquire/interpret data and make business recommendations.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
