JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager for Eastern & Southern China will be responsible for boosting sales revenues of Test & Measurement Products in the designated provinces. The role involves managing distributor and reseller channels, including evaluating and enhancing Channel Partners (CPs) continuously. Ineffective CPs will be replaced with high-performing ones, and CPs will receive essential training on our Product Lines. Expect frequent travel within the region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for sales and business development in East & South China;
  • Responsible for achieving order targets and turnover;
  • Build and maintain a dealer network as per company guidelines;
  • Drive sales growth by managing existing channels and establishing new partnerships;
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities;
  • Evaluate CPs, align with business models, and enhance market reach;
  • Provide continual assessments of CP value;
  • Manage CPs for sales expansion and market penetration;
  • Analyze and recruit new CPs;
  • Utilize SalesForce for Account Management;
  • Understand customer requirements and develop effective sales strategies;
  • Create marketing materials and support campaign activities;
  • Collaborate on marketing events and workshops;
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards;
  • Handle special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory duties assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Education
Required: Relevant Business/Technical Degree

2. Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience;
  • Minimum 3 years in scientific instrument industry with diverse end users;
  • 3 years of Channel Partner Management experience;
  • Expertise in channel partner review and motivation.

3. Knowledge of:
Required: Technical product understanding
Desired: Industry knowledge in various sectors

4. Core Competencies:

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese;
  • Strong team player;
  • Proficient in channel and sales process management;
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills;
  • Self-motivated and results-driven;
  • Proven sales track record;
  • Effective territory planning and management;
  • Experience with SalesForce software;
  • Adept at cross-functional teamwork;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently;
  • Strong written and verbal communication;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Comfortable with working under pressure;
  • Initiative and enthusiasm for the role.
