As an Area Sales Manager, you will contribute to the goals for market penetration, order intake, revenues and profitability throughout the Greater China area. Your daily tasks will include:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share for Sesam and Bladed software in China. Identify and engage potential clients, including engineering firms, research institutes, and other relevant organizations, to introduce DNV's solutions and create new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize upselling opportunities. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Sesam and Bladed software to potential customers. Collaborate closely with the technical support and product development team to understand customer needs and offer suitable software solutions for their specific requirements. Manage maintenance contracts as a core aspect of the business. Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required by management. Represent DNV at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and foster professional connections. You will be part of the Chinese sales team and will be working at DNV's Shanghai office. To qualify, we need you to have:

If you possess talent, have no fear of failure, and are brimming with passion, you can take on this job even if you lack any of the qualifications listed below. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. More than 3 years of experience in software sales, relevant technical sales or engineer roles can be considered as advantage Intermediate level of English proficiency in both conversation and writing. Problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Exceptional self-management ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities. Previous experience in software sales or relevant technical sales roles is highly advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse and multicultural environment. Strong business acumen and understanding of the engineering software market. Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend relevant events.
