About the role

The Regulatory and Safety Strategy Manager for Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) in China provides innovative solutions for healthier lives and happier homes as part of the global Total Health Regulatory and Safety Strategy Team. Reckitt is a key player among the top 20 companies on the London Stock Exchange. Today, it holds the top position or is in the top two in many rapidly growing segments, fueled by a remarkable pace of innovation. Its Dietary Supplement range includes popular brands like Airborne, Neuriva, Digestive Advantage, Move Free, Megared, and Schiff.

Your responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced skills to interpret and apply relevant Chinese authority regulations and guidances for Dietary Supplements/Health Foods.
  • Guide and instruct colleagues in understanding and applying these regulations and guidances.
  • Tackle complex or unclear regulatory issues, communicating effectively with global peers while balancing risks.
  • Oversee VMS NPD projects, offering strategic regulatory solutions in partnership with global teams and local Chinese regulatory teams.
  • Represent the regulatory team in key internal forums, especially concerning New Product Development for the Chinese market.
  • Set clear priorities, review project advancement, and provide solutions to ensure team target achievement.
  • Utilize best practices in Project Management, anticipating contingencies and enhancing team readiness.
  • Assist in label and artwork creation, collaborating with US and China regulatory teams.
  • Lead integration activities to achieve set targets and manage external projects effectively.
  • Facilitate productive meeting discussions to ensure regulatory compliance.

The experience we're looking for

  • BA/BS degree in natural or food sciences.
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with dietary supplements or China Health Food products.
  • Desired experience in people management.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed and international organization.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
  • Prior work experience in the CPG and/or Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and Project Management expertise.
  • Establish effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Skillful in handling uncertainties and devising innovative solutions for complex regulatory requirements.
  • Agile, capable of multitasking, and prioritizing tasks within tight timelines.
