Position Overview

allnex is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Associate/Specialist in Shanghai, China to join our dynamic global regulatory affairs team. In this role, you will ensure, manage, and control product regulatory compliance for allnex in China, supporting customers in establishing compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product regulatory assessments, including food contact applications, to support business decisions in the region.
  • Coordinate new substance notifications or inventory updates for the designated area.
  • Ensure compliance with local chemical control requirements and complete necessary permit applications.
  • Assess product compliance with regional regulations to address customer inquiries.
  • Submit notifications or registration dossiers to authorities for compliant product marketing.
  • Liaise with authorities when needed and support new product development in R&D.
  • Manage reporting requirements for chemical substances and assess the impact of new regulations.
  • Develop and maintain processes and systems for compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams to raise compliance awareness.
  • Collaborate with the Global Hazard Communication team to ensure compliant HazCom documents.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in Regulatory Compliance in the Chemicals industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese Chemical Control Laws and Regulations.
  • Familiarity with chemistries in allnex products, policies, and languages.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create efficient processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent field with relevant experience.
