As a Sales & Portfolio manager - Consumer Industry for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for developing and delivering effective sales and portfolio strategy for Consumer Industries segment in Robotics China in order to improve market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the local market. Drive the achievement of sales targets of relevant products, systems in a profitable way.

Your responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing sales and business development strategy in local market aligned with global strategy and targets
  • Contributing to BL business strategy with local market insights and translate business strategy into the offering and solution portfolio strategy for local market
  • Driving top line growth, proactively managing the sales performance to achieve the local business and financial targets
  • Driving innovation with a strong customer orientation, exploring opportunities along the full customer/user journey, taking into consideration all the touch points
  • Reviewing and developing sales processes and tools for sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including GSCs, R&D, engineering, comms, marketing, and operations to ensure necessary sales support, market intelligence, roadmap planning, life cycle management
  • Creating and maintaining a positive work environment. Hire, guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates with HR support
Your background
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Marketing, sales & Portfolio management, preferably within the robotics or manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of robotic technologies and their application in industrial settings
  • Deep knowledge of industrial automation and trends in consumer Industries segment
  • Demonstrate a strong customer orientation and a strong collaborative spirit
  • Result oriented and sense of ownership
  • Good communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills
