What does a Business Development Manager do?
  • Develop the new businesses by introducing SEE's solutions among China retail food packaging covering FRM, S&PM, F&V, which include (but not limited) Cryovac Darfresh, Semi rigid rollstock Case Ready and the equipment system.
  • Build/implement market strategy and lead the retail food packaging business growth in China to achieve growth budget in NTS & GP percentage.
  • Hunt and lead to develop new market/application in retail food packaging area, and coordinate to identify SEE solutions, and extend it to the sales team.
  • Provide guide and training to the sales team, and lead on the key account development plan.
  • Responsible for SEE Darfresh/VSP film and Semi rigid product line growth. Coordinate on the sales forecast and aged inventory cleaning plan.
  • Collect/Absorb/Analyze the market information, provide consultancy and predict product proposals to the company and report regularly.
  • Work with equipment team to integrate the retail food packaging materials with the machines.
What are we looking for in you?
  • 5+ years working experience in meat and/or F&V packaging, familiar with Case Ready, VSP, rollstock laminates and semi-rigid packaging solutions.
  • Experience in meat or other related food Industries is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge in food science also preferred.
  • Able to work independently and to deal with people at all levels within and outside the company.
  • Be positive and aggressive to the career, able to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good English speaking and writing.
  • Good presentation skills for product seminars and customer presentations.
  • Team player in a matrix and independent organization.
  • Innovative, able to listen and understand customer needs.
  • Willing and able to continuously learn.
  • No antipathy to travel frequently.
