We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to enhance our Product Security division. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining security protocols within our organization, safeguarding our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software development teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities in our applications and systems.
  • Establish and uphold security tools and methodologies to secure our software development processes.
  • Perform security evaluations and code audits to detect weaknesses and ensure adherence to security regulations.
  • Create and sustain secure coding standards while providing training to development personnel.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to guarantee the timely and effective delivery of secure software solutions.
  • Advocate for and implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices based on compliance mandates.
  • Review and assess software security methodologies and architecture as needed by product teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on technical subjects.
  • Innovate solutions to automate workflows and processes.
  • Develop and promote automated security scanning tools and practices across the organization.
  • Identify and spearhead initiatives for process enhancements to boost productivity and/or minimize expenses.
  • Lead evaluations of security tools and conduct Proof of Concepts to provide informed recommendations on tool acquisition, integration, and maintenance strategies.
  • Generate performance metrics and reports from consolidated data sources to assist Software Security Management in prioritizing remediation efforts.
  • Contribute to the team's strategic planning and long-term objectives.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with over seven years of proven experience in software security, particularly:

  • Experience in developing and/or testing software applications; familiarity with automation.
  • Experience with container technologies and cloud service providers such as AWS.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Git, Jira, Jenkins, and/or Docker.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
  • The capability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse audience, including senior executives, managers, developers, and domain experts.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

In addition to the experience requirements, we seek candidates with the following attributes:

  • A self-driven individual with an agile mindset.
  • A proven record of conducting application security assessments, including participation in Bug Bounty programs or capture-the-flag competitions.
  • Experience in mobile application security is advantageous.
  • A history of engagement in general information security practices and/or community involvement.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
