Salary and Benefits
We offer competitive adjunct pay based on experience and qualifications linked to total course hours per section. Additionally, travel expenses to China will be covered by CUI, and a one-bedroom or shared apartment will be provided by ZFC, including lunch on campus.
Job Description
As an adjunct faculty member, you will instruct two or three sections of courses such as ECONOMICS 201, FINANCE 331, ACCOUNTING 211, and ACCOUNTING 212. You will assess student mastery, assign grades, and report to CUI. Representatives of CUI will engage with students, staff, and faculty at the Chinese partner institution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess an MA or MS in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar educational credentials. A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching subjects to college or high school students is required. Proficiency in English is necessary, and Mandarin is beneficial but not mandatory.
Location and Compensation
The position requires relocation to Hangzhou, China. We estimate the annual salary to be around $60,000, considering the cost of living in the area. The opportunity to earn extra income through teaching, combined with the provided accommodation and meal allowance, makes this an attractive offer.
