About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to spearhead the launch and development of our operations function in China. As a key member of our global operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our internal processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our global standards.

You will have the opportunity to build a team from the ground up, working closely with global teams to shape strategies and processes that support business growth and operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Your Team to Success: Build, lead, and develop your team, fostering a productive and collaborative environment while driving accountability to deadlines and outcomes.
  • Set the Pace for Operational Excellence: Develop, standardize, and continuously refine processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Process Development: Establish and refine core processes from scratch, focusing on streamlining operations to support scalable growth and efficiency as the business expands.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with local Chinese regulations, adjusting processes to align with legal requirements and safeguard business continuity.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with global and local teams to align strategies and processes, ensuring effective integration and communication across all functions.
  • Design and Execute Strategic Projects: Lead the vision and execution for strategic projects, developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, setting timelines, and driving successful execution.
  • Manage Our Tech Stack: Oversee relationships with local software and service vendors, ensuring services meet standards and support operational needs.
  • Manage Key Risks: Identify potential operational risks and develop robust mitigation strategies and early warning systems.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to assess operational efficiency.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director who can bring a strategic and innovative approach to our operations function. You should have a proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious, measurable goals, and be comfortable working in an unstructured environment.
