Job Summary:

Cross-functional team player sought for Global Market Approvals (GMA) project coordination role at CSA Group. This position involves coordinating and delegating between CSA Operations staff, International Partners/Agencies, foreign regulators, and customers to accomplish project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to customer inquiries on foreign certification and related technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates designated GMA projects to meet customer needs and project goals within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Coordinates with other departments, International Partners/Agencies, and foreign regulators to deliver one-stop service to customers.
  • Keeps up-to-date on international certification requirements, researching and gathering information on foreign technical requirements, government regulations, and administrative guidelines.
  • Develops training materials and conducts training sessions to ensure consistency of process and maintenance of technical competence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent 5 years' experience in compliance industry.
  • 5 years' industry experience and preferably 2 more years' experience with CENELEC, IEC or IEC-based standards.
  • PMP is preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CSA Group programs and services.
  • Mentoring skills.
  • Computer proficiency (word processing and Microsoft office suites); keyboarding.
  • Strong problem-solving ability; detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent listening and retention skills.
  • Initiate and ability to develop new customer contacts.
  • Responsive and pleasant when dealing with external and internal customers, peers, and co-workers.
  • Flexible in schedule and time management.
  • Strong organization, creativity, and project management skills to plan for projects, events, and conferences.
  • Problem resolution skills, to deliver high-quality and timely services.
