Your Role

As a Product Specialist at Molex, you will work closely with the Product Manager to drive the strategic direction of assigned product families. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing plans to achieve Divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to create and execute strategic product plans, targeting specific markets, industries, and customers.
  • Support the growth of assigned product lines by increasing sales and market share, tracking progress against revenue, profit, and other key metrics.
  • Work with the Product Manager to optimize profit and return on investment for assigned product lines, leading cost reduction, capacity planning, and quality improvement projects.
  • Review and approve special price requests, maintain price bands and lists, and develop pricing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Manage new development activity or existing product lines to extend and grow the life of assigned product lines.
  • Develop promotion plans, including sales tools, literature, distribution, stocking, training, and sampling.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, Business, Financial/Data analysis, or relevant connector work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and self-monitor workload.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills to express ideas, exchange information clearly, and deliver concise presentations.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Travel to customers as needed.

What Sets You Apart

  • MBA or other related graduate degree.
  • 3+ years of experience/knowledge within the global automotive industry.
  • Strong technical background, experience in automotive connectors.
