Role Responsibilities:
The primary mission of this role is to collaborate with functional business leaders at VAPI-Wuhan technology center to pinpoint essential business priorities and execute the talent strategy to enhance performance and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Optimizing organizational structure, talent evaluation & development, and overall organizational efficiency for the tech center.
• Influencing and driving talent strategies to affect business results for the VAPI-Wuhan tech center.
• Leading critical talent transformation/change initiatives that yield significant business impact. Collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance organizational effectiveness within the tech center.
• Utilizing HR analytics to counsel business leaders on essential people metrics, including retention, total rewards, engagement, and diversity outcomes.
• Implementing and managing local employee engagement and communication strategies. Advising on specific areas of employee engagement to ensure the workforce is informed about company policies and procedures.
• Driving people-centric initiatives and providing strategic insight as a business partner regarding organizational and people-related strategies and execution, enhancing workforce efficiency in the tech center.
• Ensuring talent alignment through gap analysis and diverse workforce integration to achieve annual talent metrics and objectives.
• Establishing site-specific cultures that promote engagement, inclusivity, productivity, retention, and community spirit among employees at all levels within the tech center.
• Facilitating regular operational reviews to gather key talent insights, identify risks, and recommend change priorities while ensuring compliance across all people-related projects.
Key Performance Indicators include:
• Organizational effectiveness within the tech center (structure, role clarity, capability mix, cost).
• Efficient workforce planning that considers time, cost, and quality targets.
• Employee engagement and retention metrics.
Key Deliverables for Year One:
• Achievement of talent acquisition objectives, with a strong focus on critical growth areas.
• Enhancement of employee experience through engagement and wellbeing initiatives, leading to improved employee survey results.
• Increased efficiency in people and organizational processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR management, business, or psychology, along with a professional or academic certification in one or more HR specialty areas;
• Over 10 years of relevant experience as an HR business partner, ideally within a technology center;
• Comprehensive understanding and application of human resource principles, concepts, practices, and procedures;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in utilizing HR tools and techniques as a generalist;
• Experience supporting an organization undergoing global expansion.
• Proficiency in organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, business consulting, coaching and development, talent management, data analysis, and diversity and inclusion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced capabilities in active listening, problem identification, resolution, research, analysis, and executive reporting;
• A collaborative team player, self-motivated, and capable of thriving under pressure in a multi-tasking environment.
