Technical Business Development Manager

About the Role
This position plays a crucial role in driving business growth by implementing the product strategy of Molex in the north and south regions of China. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process and experience in directly supporting customers with high-speed automotive connectivity technical specifications, product selection, and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Molex products in the north and south China regions, promoting them to regional key customers in focus applications.
- Provide technical support to regional customers, working with the sales team to offer NTW application information as a pre-sales service.
- Drive customer design-in and provide suitable NTW product solutions based on the current product portfolio.
- Collect customer feedback, assist product managers in identifying genuine customer needs and pain points to address future product development.
- Analyze and filter sales opportunities based on customer requirements, product strategy, and comparative advantages for further operation.
- Maintain relationships with the sales team and channels to create valuable demand, driving regional business growth.
- Track project status by collaborating with sales and multi-functional teams to keep regional key projects on track.
- Participate in marketing activities (road shows, exhibitions, innovation days, conferences) and create related documents to promote NTW products, as well as conduct internal and external product training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business education; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in engineering or technical business development for automotive interconnect solutions.
- Technical understanding of vehicle electrical architecture in the transportation industry.
- Knowledge and experience in the automotive high-speed data connectivity and interconnect market.
- Ability to develop sound points of view on technology, products, customers, competitors, and market trends, and act on them to drive growth in the China market.
- Experience working in a global, diverse, and multi-group environment is preferred.
- Ability to travel to coordinate regional program deployments.
