Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Engineer to lead our localization projects in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for launching Emerson products in our China factory, following our standard project gate review process and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead localization projects, collaborating with multi-function teams to ensure successful product launches in China.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements, including layout design and production line setup.
  • Introduce new equipment and automation solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop process documentation and provide training to operators and line leaders on new processes and equipment.
  • Contribute to quality and productivity improvements using lean and six sigma tools, driving cost reduction and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience and education.
  • Minimum years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Pro-E software or equivalent applications.
