Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of SAP's software localization processes and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address language-related challenges, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality localized products.
  3. Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform localization strategies and improve product offerings.
  4. Work closely with Language Experience colleagues worldwide to leverage expertise and share knowledge, driving continuous improvement in localization capabilities.
  5. Document and maintain process guidelines, quality standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Translation Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working in collaborative environments.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 4 days per week in the office, preferably Monday through Thursday.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in SDL Trados Studio and/or other translation management tools.
  • Experience in Simplified Chinese translation and quality review.
  • Strong interest in exploring multiple skills, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines.
