About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join our team at an international high school in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching computer science to high school students and be able to create engaging and enriching learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach computer science to high school students using provided or self-developed lesson plans that align with the school's point system.
  • Grade exams and follow the department's schedule and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on student discipline and performance issues.
  • Implement the school's point system to maintain a learning-friendly classroom environment.
  • Supervise exams, ensuring a well-managed and adequate setting.
  • Support academically struggling students to boost their performance and motivation.
  • Prepare for external exams by reviewing past papers as per the revision schedule.
  • Assist in various duties such as student testing, substituting teachers, organizing activities, and managing traffic.
  • Participate in student life events coordination, including art, open house, and physical education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent.
  • Teaching Certificate is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of A Level experience in secondary education.
