Business Development Manager

About the Role
This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering product solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior members of the product organization to understand and execute product strategies that align with Serko's goals.
- Work with stakeholders to translate product strategies into detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business objectives, customer needs, market demand, and technical feasibility.
- Transform product opportunities into solution options that address customer needs by collaborating with design and engineering partners.
- Plan and execute product launches in coordination with marketing, sales, and customer support teams, ensuring a seamless go-to-market strategy that highlights the value proposition of the product.
- Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing potential roadblocks to ensure alignment with the product strategy and business objectives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in API integration.
- The ability to define strategic priorities, helping others relate to and align with them, and set product vision and strategy.
- Product Management experience and an extensive toolbox of modern product discovery practices.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience building collaborative relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience advocating for a product or service with customers and stakeholders.
- Experience fostering an open and collaborative environment.
- Experience in the Travel domain (advantageous).
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ($120,000 - $150,000) and discretionary incentive plan based on individual and company performance, as well as benefits including health and wellbeing initiatives, access to a learning and development platform, and opportunities for career growth.
