We are seeking a qualified Customs Expert to join our Product Line Chassis Systems within the Division Car Chassis Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to all AP-locations concerning various customs matters;
  • Oversee and enhance legally compliant customs processes, particularly in customs preferences utilizing the MIC tool;
  • Manage internal processes and external service providers to ensure AEO-F compliance;
  • Assist with various logistics cost assessments;
  • Conduct audits and evaluations of processes related to air cargo security;
  • Analyze freight and logistics cost accounting to ensure accurate billing of freight and ancillary logistics expenses in European locations, while further developing the freight accounting system;
  • Plan and support the implementation of Assist freight;
  • Facilitate internal training sessions on the aforementioned topics.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a focus on logistics.
  • Significant professional experience in logistics and customs is essential.
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP modules MM, PP, SD, Warehouse Management, and Atlas.
  • Experience in executing logistics projects within the automotive sector.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a systematic, analytical, and meticulous approach.
  • Proficient in English, with additional foreign language skills being a plus.
  • International and intercultural experience with a strong willingness to travel.
