Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at BEUMER Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the company network, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support to local end users, including client support, telephone support, OS and software support, Citrix support, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Support workshop clients, including industrial computers on productive equipment, troubleshooting.
  • Provide training to end users on company computer policies and procedures, and software usage.
  • Monitor Incident Queue in global IT service Desk, proceed or forward to global corresponding 2nd level team.
  • Provide remote support for end users in other group companies in Region Asia when IT incidents occur.
  • Perform other tasks relevant to this position or arranged by IT manager, and cooperate closely with all departments to achieve the company target.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer science.
  • Fluent English in both oral and written is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT activities, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, networking, and virtual technology.
  • Basic knowledge of virtual technology.
  • Excellence in handling multiple tasks and work well under pressure, with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to work effectively with different levels of system users.
  • Professional, positive, and energetic attitude.
  • Teamwork spirit.
