Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Corning. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide technical support and assistance to our Senior Leadership Team executives, ensuring seamless operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computing equipment, mobile devices, and software applications.
  • Deploy and maintain mobile equipment, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support to our SLT executives.
  • Identify and document recurring issues, escalating them to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure discreet handling of sensitive business information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders, providing regular updates on technical issues and potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT technology groups, Business Engagement, and SLT executives to ensure seamless technical support.
  • Follow established processes and methodologies to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
  • Minimum three years of dynamic work experience in an IT technology role.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and diagnosing technology issues related to Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, MAC OS, Windows OC, network services, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills of mobile devices, specifically Apple and Android setup and configuration.
  • Mac computer familiarity and support skills a plus.
  • Strong remote support skills and familiarity with remote support tools.
