Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by generating revenue through qualifying leads in Marine related opportunities.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our solutions to potential clients or partners during presentations, industry events, and seminars.
  • Assist in the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that showcase the value of our offerings.
  • Engage with prospects to comprehend their unique needs and challenges, contributing to the formulation of suitable technical solutions.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the AVEVA portfolio and effectively position it.
  • Support proof of concepts and/or pilot projects.
  • Contribute to the establishment of standardization practices.
  • Earn and maintain the trust and respect of customers as the technical solution authority.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Typically, 3-5 years of experience in the Marine Industry and/or with AVEVA software products, alongside 2-5 years in Technical Sales, Presales, or Business Development.
  • Extensive practical experience in implementing AVEVA solutions for clients.
  • Ability to self-manage effectively and juggle multiple, potentially conflicting commitments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively with development teams to create and present demonstration applications.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, consistently delivering the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify opportunities, provide support at all engagement levels, and ensure proposed solutions align with AVEVA's strategic goals.
  • Work within a dynamic team environment, demonstrating flexibility in the application and development of personal and technical skills to enhance team efficiency.
  • Possess extensive experience in providing IT infrastructure support to large user groups requiring high-performance connectivity and availability.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
