Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Specialist to join our team in EU. As a Category Specialist, you will be responsible for advancing the business agenda of your assigned category, driving strategic decisions, and managing key supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and promotional support, and analyze data to strategize revenue and profit growth opportunities.
  • Advance catalog expansion, develop relationships with target suppliers, and identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for the category.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive change, analyze and anticipate competitor marketing, selection, and pricing strategy, and attend trade shows or travel to meet key suppliers.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field and 1+ years of experience in ecommerce, sourcing, or supply-side sales.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint expertise, readiness to work with data using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and other tools.
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, and a track record of successful negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems, and implement solutions.
  • A structured, proactive approach to work, eager to progress professionally, and motivated to drive business growth.
