Wealth and Personal Banking represents our innovative global business that merges Retail Banking with Wealth Management and Global Private Banking, aiming to establish a comprehensive wealth management service with trillions in assets. Our dedicated professionals cater to millions of clients globally, covering a wide range of private wealth needs, from personal banking for individuals and families to services for business owners, investors, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We offer a variety of products and services including bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, asset management, insurance, and private banking tailored to meet our clients' requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Impact:
Foster an environment where the broader Branch team optimizes performance to achieve RBWM business goals. Uphold service quality standards by meeting service level agreements (SLAs). Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure customer transactions are executed flawlessly, preventing any potential detriment to clients or the organization. Recognize common fraudulent activities, errors, or irregular transactions and take appropriate measures to resolve or escalate.Customer Engagement:
Meet customer expectations regarding efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism, whether in-person or via telephone. Oversee the customer journey for any services provided or product referrals as necessary. Generate new income opportunities through initiatives that enhance the development of both new and existing customer relationships. Ensure fair outcomes for our clients and maintain conduct that supports the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.Leadership & Collaboration:
Individuals are accountable for their own effectiveness, development, and results, whether in a transactional role or a more generalist capacity. Support the achievement of HSBC's vision, values, goals, and culture through personal behavior, actions, and decision-making. Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify risks and opportunities for the business. Apply policies, procedures, practices, and standards to assigned tasks, taking responsibility for actions to ensure high levels of quality, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance.Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
Knowledge & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of proven and progressive experience in financial services and/or retail sales or equivalent. Strong communication skills, client focus, and the ability to influence. Comprehensive knowledge of services and client relationship management systems. Familiarity with local regulatory and licensing requirements. A clear understanding of how to collaborate with Compliance, Credit & Risk, and Internal Control to maintain a balanced risk operating environment. Proficiency in English and local languages.Accreditations:
Attainment of appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by the market. Achievement of any internal standards as mandated by HSBC.-
