About the Position:
The Director of Food and Beverage is a key member of the Hotel Leadership team, responsible for overseeing the Food and Beverage operation. This includes all restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, room service, and private bars. The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses, and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring seamless execution of events and services.
- Lead and manage a team of Food and Beverage professionals, providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the Food and Beverage department, prioritizing investments in staff training, equipment, and marketing initiatives.
- Implement labor control and operating expense management strategies to maintain profitability and efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and industry partners, driving innovation and excellence in the Food and Beverage experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum five to seven years of experience in Food and Beverage management, with a proven track record of success.
- College degree in hotel/restaurant management or business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English communication, both oral and written, with Mandarin communication ability a must.
