Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Control Engineer to join our team at 3130 KLA-Tencor Semiconductor Equipment Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with customers to investigate process errors, gather and analyze data, and develop process control solutions to reduce killer defects and improve yield.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and gather data at customer sites to understand root causes of process errors.
- Develop and implement process control solutions to reduce killer defects and improve yield.
- Engage with customers to define problem statements, resolve issues, and generate best known method (BKM) documents.
- Support new product introduction projects, including definition, characterization, alpha testing, beta testing, and customer use case development.
- Provide pre- and post-sales application support activities.
- Learn new tasks, adapt to change, establish priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with customers to publish papers at industry symposia or in technical journals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor process control or applications.
- Familiarity with chip manufacture process, metrology-related errors, and solutions.
- Basic knowledge of KLA process control software, Klarity Defect, Klarity ACE, etc.
- Self-driven with strong team player skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Fab working experience is preferred.
- Software development and scripting skills are a plus.
- Travel to customer sites is required.

Master's Level Degree
