Sales Professional with Strategic Account Management Experience

The ideal candidate for this Inside Sales Representative role will be responsible for managing the overall account relationship by providing strategic service and support to assigned customers. This includes maximizing margins, gaining market share, and driving value-added solution selling. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external resources to provide customer service, facilitating the work of others in quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, providing engineering support, and troubleshooting customer problems. Additionally, they will function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to build and establish long-term business partnerships for Arrow Electronics, Inc.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory to drive Sales Excellence
• Provide thorough knowledge and accountability of supply chain engagements such as e-Compass, Consignments, CARES (Customer Automated Replenishment System), and Synergistic products
• Sell and capture opportunities through Reverse Logistics, GBC (Global Business Conversion) & ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition)
• Own the customer interface for backend Quality processes: corrective actions, Field Quality Reports, and Perfect Order Index (POI) maintenance
• Coordinate all available resources and support functions for credit and financial information
• Set strategy for the quote process, coordinate resources, and processing of customer quotations, validate EOL and item class change (NCNR), negotiate pricing and Quote mark up
• Participate in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE tied to specific sales-related goals
Requirements:
Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2-4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
