About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Novo Nordisk as a Regional Compliance Business Partner, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Compliance Partner
    • Develop and implement effective compliance programs and measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to understand business operations, identify compliance risks, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Daily Compliance Consultation
    • Provide timely and accurate compliance advice to regional teams, ensuring they are aware of and comply with global and local compliance policies.
    • Pre-approve regional key activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Conduct regular monitoring and investigation follow-up to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and submit periodic reports to central compliance function to drive company-level compliance program optimization.
  • Ad Hoc Assignments
    • Support central LEC team in facilitating external and internal dispute resolution, handling inquiries/investigations by external authorities, and ensuring security management.
    • Perform other ad hoc assignments or projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as law or a related background.
  • P.R.C. Bar Qualification.
  • 8-10 years of work experience with a strong legal background.
  • Strong integrity level, with the ability to stick to principles under pressure.
  • Strong risk sense, risk management skills, focus on detail, and strong learning ability.
  • Passionate and willing to take on challenges.
  • Strong documentation skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (20%).
