Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to achieve sales results and develop coverage and the Ferrero business model for the assigned area. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and experience in FMCG industry field sales and territory management.
Main Responsibilities- Sales Strategy
• Develop and propose goals, territory sales strategies, and customer plans for the assigned area.
• Ensure the proper management of budget and reach targets on trade spending, returns, and profits in line with business objectives. - Sales Forecast, Budget, and Objectives
• Monitor and ensure the achievement of sales conditions, agreements, and relevant KPIs.
• Provide negotiation strategy recommendations and collaborate with KA to complete trading terms between the region and headquarters. - Customer Plans and Sales Development
• Detect and propose business development and growth opportunities, ensuring quantity and quality development in the assigned area.
• Conduct meetings with management teams of distributors to review sales and financial performance, rebate performance, and jointly develop business and investment plans. - Field Management
• Select and manage distributors, ensuring payment to the company, following up on credits, and maintaining information flow from distributors on sales and expenses.
• Train and supervise DSMs to improve distributor management capability and establish the model of the perfect store. - Planning and Control
• Monitor field activities performance and accomplishment of sales conditions, agreements, and relevant KPIs.
• Provide KA trade terms with negotiation strategy recommendations. - Marketing and Trade Marketing
• Implement brand strategies, achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives set by marketing, and report on opportunities and obstacles. - Team Management
• Coach and evaluate the knowledge and selling skills of team members, leading their performance evaluation process.
• Build the team's talent pipeline.
We are looking for a candidate with a college degree and above, fluent in English, and familiar with MS Office. The ideal candidate will have FMCG industry field sales and territory management experience, strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills, and people management, account management, and sales skills.
A Chinese Local Labor contract with a local salary and benefits package will be offered for this position. Proficiency in Mandarin speaking is required.
