Impact and Responsibilities

As a seasoned B-to-B business development manager, you will lead the partnership business development across business lines of AIG China, focusing on Accident & Health to achieve growth and financial targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, approaching, negotiating, and closing business deals in targeted segments independently with support from functional colleagues.
  • Closely monitoring sales performances of launched partnership deals, identifying root causes for underperformance, and proposing and executing action plans to improve financial outcomes.
  • Maintaining excellent partner relations to ensure business objectives are achieved through a win-win approach.
  • Actively managing sales pipeline tools (salesforce) and making sales reportings for management review purposes.
  • Staying updated on the insurance market evolution, focusing on digital and Accident & Health areas, and providing market insights to the product development team to timely identify market needs and corresponding solutions.
  • Performing other ad hoc projects and duties assigned by the department head.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated B-to-B business development or account management experience in the insurance ecosystem.
  • A proven track record of successfully launching a partnership deal with targeted financial results achieved, preferably in digital or Accident & Health insurance ecosystem.
  • Consultative selling abilities and experience to offer tailored solutions with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • English literacy with a Bachelor's Degree or above.
