PeopleCert is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in their territory. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's go-to-market strategy and the ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in the training, education, and corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the China market and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporates, government entities, and professional organizations to promote PeopleCert products.
  • Collaborate with PC partner organizations in China to increase sales and market penetration.
  • Apply account management skills and extensive professional experience to develop high-quality business relationships at Senior Executive level.
  • Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of PeopleCert products.
  • Coordinate activities with the company's operations base and local market conditions.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize Return on Time Investment.
  • Monitor progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report to Headquarters.
  • Facilitate and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate degree in IT, preferably an MBA.
  • Over 15 years' experience in driving new business development at corporate level, with a proven track record in driving successful business development transactions.
  • Awareness of ITIL, Prince2, Devops, and other PeopleCert products is desirable.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial bent of mind who can work across different cultures.
  • Sound understanding of channel development, strategy selling principles, partnership strategy, and consultative selling.
  • Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills in working with executives, external constituents, and other business functions.
  • Exposure in the Education market, Consulting, or Examination/Certification sectors, as well as prior experience in international corporate environments, will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired).
  • Advanced computer literacy is required.
