Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the retail industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans and initiatives.
  • Provide industry expertise and thought leadership to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of industry or client relationship experience.
  • Proven sales and/or client relationship management experience.
  • Extensive understanding of the retail industry and its leading brands.
  • Ability to negotiate deals where Sensormatic Solutions is not the low-cost provider.
  • Business/financial management expertise.
