Business Development Manager

PeopleCert is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in their territory. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the company's go-to-market strategy and be able to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in the training, education, and corporate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the China market
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, government entities, and professional organizations to increase awareness and market size of PC products
- Collaborate with PC partner organizations in China to drive sales growth
- Apply account management skills and extensive professional experience to develop high-quality business relationships at Senior Executive level
- Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of PeopleCert products
- Coordinate activities with the company's operations base and local market conditions
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize Return on Time Investment
- Monitor progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report to Headquarters
- Facilitate and expedite customer problem resolution and complaints
- Participate in trade shows and conventions
Requirements:
- Post-graduate degree in IT, preferably an MBA
- Over 15 years' experience in driving new business development at corporate level, with a proven track record in successful business development transactions
- Awareness of ITIL, Prince2, Devops, and other PeopleCert products is desirable
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can work across different cultures
- Sound understanding of channel development, strategy selling principles, partnership strategy, and consultative selling
- Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills in working with executives, external constituents, and business functions at all levels
- Exposure in the Education market, Consulting, or Examination/Certification sectors, as well as prior experience in international corporate environments, is an asset
- Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired)
- Advanced computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar software is an asset
