Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with trillions in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management, and private banking, that best suit our customers' needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Customer Development Manager. In this role, you will assist the Division Manager to lead a customer development team in people management, sales performance management, training, and coaching, and operational risk control, so as to maximize the productivity of the team and contribute to the achievement of business strategy with high-quality sales and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor the sales and services quality provided by team members to ensure the sales/service process is strictly followed and the delivery of a consistently excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure fair outcomes for customers are delivered in all situations.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a team of highly mobile sales staff, and lead a mobile sales team to focus on activities to expand HSBC's new to wealth acquisition.
  • Role success will be achieved by focusing on striving to develop new relationships outside HSBC that will deliver sustainable growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven ability in mobile sales.
  • Current product/market knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Managerial experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in supervisory role of sales function.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and motivation skills.
  • Strong sales and organization ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Result-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Good spoken and written English.
