We are seeking an Automation Solutions Sales Lead to become part of the Wartsila ANCS (Automation Navigation Control System) division within the Sales team. The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge of automation products, both hardware and software, particularly in Monitoring & Alarm Systems and Propulsion Control Systems.
In this role, you will be tasked with promoting and selling Automation products, engaging in detailed technical discussions with clients and fellow ANCS sales representatives, as well as collaborating with the product team.
You will offer both technical and commercial assistance for Automation opportunities directed towards our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively engage with shipyards and shipowners in the region. Provide support to local Sales Managers during technical discussions with clients. Prepare sales proposals, including the development of technical and commercial documentation tailored to customer needs. Customize and define the content and scope of solutions based on client interactions. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new build shipyards and owners. Promote Automation products through presentations to clients. Enhance and customize our Automation products' value propositions. Influence client decision-making processes. Regularly communicate and align sales projects with the local Customer delivery and Sales teams. Maintain ongoing communication and training regarding updates to Automation products with the global product team.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Educational background in marine engineering or a related field. Over 10 years of experience in marine industry sales, with a preference for technical roles. Strong product and sales knowledge of Automation systems and solutions. Excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally. Ability to perform under pressure.Why Join Us?
