Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal sales team and customers by:

  • Customizing sales presentations based on product literature and trial reports to resonate with local market logic, ensuring clarity and appeal.
  • Delivering product and technical training to both internal teams and distributors, showcasing the value propositions of IFF's Animal Nutrition and Health offerings.
  • Actively engaging in new business development initiatives and providing training to customers and key end-users to foster sustainable growth.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints efficiently.
  • Conducting thorough competitive analyses of key products within the poultry sector to inform strategic decisions.
  • Offering specialized technical support to major accounts in the poultry segment across the Greater China region.
  • Providing technical guidance on industry standards related to enzymes and health product applications as needed.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key industry influencers to enhance the company’s reputation in the feed sector.
  • Developing strong connections with technical stakeholders to drive mutual understanding and support sustainable sales growth.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Master’s degree in zootechnical science or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in technical services within the poultry industry, with at least 5 years focused on feed additives, enzymes, or health products.
  • Knowledge of feed additives, enzyme applications, and feed formulation.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify customer needs and potential improvements.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in organizing customer events, such as seminars and study tours.
  • A willingness to travel frequently.
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
