Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Compliance Program Manager to support our business operations in the APAC region.

This role will be responsible for developing and driving strategic direction for trade compliance policies and strategies in the region, managing region-specific trade compliance procedures, and conducting trade compliance audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Customs regulatory tenants, including tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin. They will also have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and strategies for the APAC region
  • Manage region-specific trade compliance procedures and SOP's
  • Conduct trade compliance audits and identify potential risks
  • Implement corrective actions to improve compliance
  • Support global trade compliance initiatives and programs
  • Provide guidance to in-country teams on trade compliance regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in trade compliance roles, preferably with a technology/manufacturing company
  • Strong knowledge of Customs regulatory tenants
  • University degree or relevant certification
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders
