Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IS HQ teams to identify and address Finance requirements and challenges, providing expert guidance on utilizing SAP for process optimization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized Finance procedures and best practices within the SAP framework, ensuring adherence to global accounting standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Work alongside the IT team and external consultants to configure and customize SAP Finance modules effectively.
  • Facilitate the rollout of template solutions for Finance processes, ensuring uniform practices and optimal use of SAP functionalities across all regions and subsidiaries.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of existing Finance processes and systems, pinpointing areas for enhancement, automation, and optimization, with a focus on template harmonization.
  • Lead and support SAP implementation and upgrade initiatives related to Finance capabilities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance internal users' SAP skills and knowledge, enabling effective navigation and utilization of finance functionalities.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving system-related challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAP Finance and template design, proactively recommending innovative solutions for continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate with Regional and Corporate Finance departments, including Global Finance Service, Tax, and Treasury.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in IT technology.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance Controlling (both functional and technical aspects) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with S4 HANA projects is essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 full-cycle implementation projects.
  • Prior experience as both an external and internal consultant is preferred.
  • Familiarity with APAC localizations in finance is a valuable asset.

Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent command of English.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage.

Managerial Skills:

  • Ability to design solutions, analyze business processes, and translate functional descriptions into technical terms.
  • Capable of building business cases to prioritize actions in alignment with group rules and IT strategies.
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment, managing diverse priorities simultaneously.
  • Skilled in managing changes in working methods, processes, and tools.
  • Ability to plan project actions while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
