Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking a talented Graduate Application Engineer to join our MCU Application Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, internal technical teams, and field application engineers (FAEs) on our general-purpose MCU products and solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge of our 16-bit and 32-bit MCU series products.
  • Provide continuous technical support to existing and new customers through various online support channels and FAEs.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing, FAE, and sales teams to provide detailed technical support during new product design and promotion phases.
  • Design and deliver technical training sessions for customers, sales teams, and partners on our MCU products and solutions.
  • Participate in the design review of MCU-based circuit boards, systems, and firmware/software.
  • Assist in the debugging and startup of hardware and software.
  • Ensure high-quality support and design through completion of standard development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
    • Strong understanding of circuit diagrams and hardware design, preferably with digital systems or microcontrollers.
    • Familiarity with serial communication protocols, including UART, SPI, and I2C.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, partners, and global team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, accept guidance, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining effective communication.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • English language proficiency: CET-4 (preferably CET-6) certification, with the ability to read and understand English technical documents and communicate basic technical information in English.
  • Bonus Requirements:
  • Skills: Familiarity with embedded systems and software development; knowledge of debugging tools and techniques.
